I'm Sorry but I'm lost again

I'm sorry for being such a pain but I cannot get the remote to work anything but WinTV.
It says in config "Fix Hauppauge 45 button and Fix Hauppauge 32 button" well my remote has 43 buttons. But i've tried each one with no success.
I wish the instructions were a little more clear on the wiki but its probably just me being DUMB

Two of your 43 buttons are actually two buttons combined into one, volume and channel. The are 45 different things you can press.

I dont override the Go button settings because I try to co-operatively share the remote with any other applications already installed.

Thank You sub I appreciate the extra effort you are going with me. I have another question though, I just tried to set a 2 recordings - 1 for 9:00 - 10:00 pm and another at 10:00 -11:00 pm on another channel. I took all the pre-padding out and it won't let me schedule both - says I have to cancel one that there is a conflict.

Any ideas?? Thank you soooooooo much

I regularly schedule two programs back to back, and they record fine even with my default 1min pre- and post- padding (not sure how, but they do!)

However, I have had the problem you describe when the guide reports a program as (in your first case), 9:00-10:01pm and the second is 10:00-11pm. It might be worth checking.

If so, GBPVR is functioning as it should (ie, reporting a conflict), but you can get round it by scheduling manual recordings.

That makes sense - I think ER (which is one I'm recording) starts at 9:59 not 10:00 so thats probably it !!
