It's much better. The recording is started but the screen keeps black.

It looks like you dont have decoders selected on the 'Decoders' setting screen.

If I look in GBPVR the decoders are standing on System default. If I look however in NPVR the Render is set to VMR9 and the other decoders are Disabled. Could you explain more for me what I have to set as decoder?

You have to set them to something (at least MPEG2 video, and MPEG1 Layer II audio), or you'll get no audio or video.

to explain a litte further, NPVR doesn't use the system default decoder in absence of a setting like GB-PVR did - if the decoder for a particular media type is set to Disabled then it is literally Disabled. You must have a decoder selected for any media type you use, and should leave any you don't use set to disabled.

I'm able now to watch the Live-TV.

So I'm going further to setup NPVR.

sub, I don't seem to be able to get NPVR to work anymore, it doesn't fire the USBUIRT or attempt to change channel. Checking logs seems to be related to Connect Filters hence post in this therad.

Hmm. Odd it seems OK now after I twice restarted.
Any thoughts on why ConnectFilters:Failed(2) might have failed before and how to stop it happening again?

I don't think "ConnectFilters:Failed(2)" was the cause of your troubles. My logs have that message all over the place, and I'm not having any trouble.

I dont know. Maybe the tuner was in use in other software? (GBPVR?)

No, I checked that, anyway, it's working now, just seems odd. I think my PC must be sick or something :-)
