lol, he's always got a suspicious looking sore on his lip... my wife calls him 'Herpe boy' and swears she wouldn't eat his food at gunpoint.

I'll take Raichlen any day over flay's fussy food. I've made some absolutely legendary ribs using rub and technique from his grilling book and shows.

I see that... thanks!

I'm not sure exactly what I did, but after rebooting about 75% of my recordings are now back and appearing in the Recordings list. I can't explain it, but I figured I can live with that (I had too many that had accumulated as it was-- I'm sorry to report that Bobby Flay was a casualty, though).

Thank you again for all your help.

If 75% is good enough for you then it's good enough for me (I did find the RecoverRecordings utility would be unable to get the metadata from a few of the recordings, but not 25% of them). If you haven't already, you can point a video library path to your recording path and watch any missing recordings that way.

Yes, I realize that, thanks. It also occurred to me that one could also fairly easily add any missing recordings to the xml file by following the pattern of existing recordings listed.

I use Vidimport to do exactly that http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Utility/VidImport
