I am trying to install NPVR on a machine where the boot drive is "G:" (no idea whether that is related or not), and I simply can NOT get the recording service to install. If I type "Nrecord install" (which is what I thought I saw the install process doing) from a command prompt (when in the NPVR directory), it does nothing that I can see (no errors in event logs either). But the service definitely never shows up in my list of Windows services (and if I try a restart from the tray menu, it throws an error about no installed service by that name). Any ideas on why this service won't install? Oh, I'm running XP SP2.
Thanks!
