Duplicate Simultaneous Recordings - NEWA

Both my shows scheduled for recording tonite were duplicated....no failed messages. I had applied the latest patch as well.

This appears to be the duplicte issue that was raised a few pages back associated to EPG load occurring......I highlighted n the logs below where you can see Fringe starting and then starting again after the EPG load runs......

This issue is not related to NEWA from what I can tell.......

I'm EXTREMELY happy to report the last patch has resolved all my duplicates issues so far, and recordings are showing up in the guide now as well. I've now gone two days without duplicates showing up in pending recordings, a feat which I have never accomplished with NPVR until now.

That is great news! Keep posting updates over the next week or so.....I think your issue is different than what pcostanza's is......

I have another program recording right now that is recording twice. It's not every program that does this. Maybe what I need to do is to remove all the programs and add them back. I'm not sure why it's some but not all except the possibility of an EPG problem. Again, maybe I'll wait until sub gets the Schedules Direct working with NPVR and see how it goes.

yea...sub has been tied up with day-job stuff......said it is on the list to look into....but all indications that I can see point to active recordings during the EPG update process.......

It seems the last patch introduced another problem. I cannot get into the manage recordings area of NEWA. Everything else seems to work so far.

Whenever I click on manage recordings it just spins until it times out. I get the following in the weblog:

That is strange.....Manage Recordings does not do anything with saving of a scheduled recording. Can you post all your logs in a zip file and I can take a look.

Very strange... I came back this morning and it is all working again. I saw where another user posted earlier today about seeing the same thing from inside NPVR, so I'm thinking whatever mine was it isn't a NEWA problem.
