Hi all,

Been running GBPVR for a day or so but am experiencing a few problems.
Using 2off Hauppauge NOVA-HD-S2 for Astra 28.2e feed. Am in the UK.

It was working to begin with but no the EPG contains no data, and thats after a full PG update. I'm using basic functionality, no external XML feed. Just seems unreliable.

Some of my ripped DVD's (VOBs) are showing up as 4:3 instead of 16:9 (the originals were 16:9), also the menu's don't seems to work. I have a Dvico TviX6500A and the exact same ripped DVD's play perfectly including the menu's.

Some channels I'll get sound but a blank screen.

Ian.

A lot of satellite service doent transmit anything more than the now/next show information using the standard DVB EPG functionality. Some services, like Freesat in the UK, only transmit now/next, and transmit the rest using their own proprietary scheme. For these your only option is to use an XMLTV epg source instead.

Have you tried other decoders? NextPVR is much better than GBPVR for getting working DVD ments.

Reproduce the problem, then post the pvrx2.exe.log and pvrx2.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.
