Hi there - just purchased a Peak Dual DVB-T PCI card and installed it no problems. Installed drivers, no problems and ran the software which came with the card - no problems. I can record and view TV. Except that the software supplied is very basic.

So I downloaded NPVR as it was recommended to me Installs OK and picks up the the UK channels great and the EPG updates great.

However when I try to view Live TV or schedule a recording there is "cannot connect to recording device" error
Any ideas?

heres the card..http://www.amazon.co.uk/PEAK-DUAL-DVB-T-...roduct_top

Using a Shuttle SFF running XP with 1.3GB RAM
Thanks

Reproduce the problem and post the npvr.log and nrecord.log and I'll take a look.

Should be c:\documents and settings\all users\application data\npvr with XP

Huzzah! Well... almost. I rescan all the channels and updated the EPG and now I can watch Live TV.

However I need to configure the Infra Red Remote and also to see why Live TV pauses when I set up a timed recording:mad:
