Unable to play .m2ts video files in latest version of NPVR 1.5.33

I tried to play one of my m2ts files which is in a network share. It still won't play the video, it just bounces you back out to the pch menu. However it does work when the m2ts video file is on the C: Drive. Is there a way to get it to work on the network share?

Based on your logs in the release announcement this could be a "normal" problem with permissions for MVP and NMT clients connecting to remote shares. You either need to run the NPVR Recording services as a different user or use the Sharehelper tool. There is also some oddity in the way that the file existence test is being logged in MVP.log.1 so there could be problems with NPVR and the UNC name too.

You should always include logs with your posts, so we don't have to hunt thing down.
