I am running the latest NPVR and everything was working perfect. Now my XMLTV file is not pulling in the program data.

I have checked with a Simple XMLTV viewer and all the data is there in the file.

I have a zip file that is 2Meg with config.xml, Logs, and the XMLTV. It is too big to attach.

Below is the NRecord.log
Code:

Has anyone got any idea what could be the issue?

Thanks in advance.

I have had this on occassions - if restarting NPVR (without updating EPG) they seemed to reappear.
Also I had a problem with the computer going back to sleep just as the epg update was finishing (MCE Shutdown Tool 6 mins inactivity on an auto resume) This was solved by adding the epg grabber DVBGuide to the list of programs to keep awake in the registry.

Also just noticed your update was at 11am - any TV watching taking place then?

This is happning ALL the time now.

The computer did not sleep after as I was checking it. Normally it updates at 6am but changed to 11am to try to diagnose the issue. Also No TV watching taking place.

Is this Freesat EPG - If it is BBC have made several Mux changes today which could screw up your channel mapping

Hi

Digiguide. Using DG2XMLTV or http://www.birtles.org.uk XMLTV Both have the same issue.

My only suggestion is to try DVBGuide and see if the problem presists.

Bit confused. DVBGuide ? That captures the guide from over the air on digital TV.

I dont have any digital tuners. And I use EXTERNAL sources for all my channels.

I have just noticed you are not in the UK. We dont get many Digital OTH channels here. So you either need a Cable or Sat box and they dont let you use your own Cable or Sat Card.

Thanks anyway.

Just Got home and checked epg (Freeview DVB-T DVBGuide XMLTV collection) There was a huge number of holes in the program guide. Just run empty epg and update epg from the channels menu and nearly all have returned - possibly the database was down overnight - I believe they may all come from the same source.
