Video folders sort order

I'm sure I've seen a post about this, but I can't find it :confused:

My Videos folders always appeared in alphanumeric order when stored on my WinXP machine.
I've just moved them to a Linux server, and now they're all in (I think) creation date order.

Is there a way to force it back to alphanumeric? I've tried touching the creation dates, but it doesn't seem to have made any difference.

Sorting in Video library is a work in progress (I think), it has been mentioned as a wish to Sub.

Thanks - I'm curious why simply moving the files has changed the way NPVR (and GBPVR) sorts the list.

I'm not bothered about being able to re-sort in different ways from the GUI. I just want to fix the default sort order as ahphanumeric.

I don't think ther is any sorting in npvr/gbpev in Videos, I think it is displayed just the way the operating system hands it over.
