Post your pictures ^^ I LOVE pictures of pcs / mediacenters etc. It's interesting to see different setups, sometimes it gives a few ideas for own things. ;D

Well I think it would only be fair for me to start with my room that no-one sees when they visit and admire my Home Entertainment System Big Grin

This room is for advanced guests only

(and yes I do need better cable management)

Guess which box is running GB-PVR/NPVR?

I think, the nice flat silver box under the display (which displays the nPVR menu) is the one we look for. ^^

Btw., a nice "server room" there. oO What systems are standing there?

Big Grin

All running Windows (I was never a linux bod :o )

Actually 1st box from left is file/web server running XAMPP for windows. 2nd Box from left (Silver Lian Li) is daily 'work' PC. 3rd box over to the right is THE MEDIA MAMA! GB-PVR/NPVR with SAT feeds into the back. 4th Box (Black Lian Li is work Media Editing PC)

The thing you spotted under the NPVR display is actually a JVC MiniDV/VHS deck!

Also where you can't see it tucked away behind is my QNAP TS101 NAS and a sky box STB feeding the Media Server!

Off to take a picture of what the 'guests' see!

Even Mrs ACTCMS doesn't get to see this... which is in my operations room (AKA loft). Tonight's featured machine is the Family Domain Server... note the extensive use of eSATA disks and the ambient cooling system - not to mention ease of component access for maintenance...

(and I don't see much wrong with your cable management)

Somehow I got away with my operations room one floor down from loft. However I have duly noted your cooling system (which is fairly similar to mine) and yes why wrap up all your components inside a box when you know you are going to have to get at them soon?

Thank you for your support of my cable management Big Grin

But now of course this is why we do it! For the front end Wink

Strangely however good my 'Living Room' set up is with PCH110 and Denon 5.1 (Yes quite old now) Amp what people are always impressed with is the whole shebang in my kitchen. (sorry for blurred images)

1) Long shot

2) Close shot

3) Close (up) shot showing MVP tucked away nicely under 'dashboard' or whatever that thing in the kitchen is called!
