Wow! This is very impressive. A nice kitchen AND a nice setup there. You see? This is wat i meant before: photos that inspire us. ^^

Just shot here (little bit dusty, i didn't thought it were so much, but the flashlight of the camera shows it without mercy!):

The 3 machines are all in the same room. The 1st one from left is the server (i3-550, currently 9 harddisks inside, as you can see in the background he's just consuming 138 Wh, because he's transcoding some videos to x264 ^^). The 2nd one, what should it be, is my mediacenter. Based on an i3-550 too, yes oversized, but this should be. It rans most time in idle and so uses very less energy and can ran passive. ^^ The last one ist my proud: An itx based system. H57 chipset combined with an i5-760 (officially no support for quads, but running fine because of Windows 7). Small, strong, silent, nice. Big Grin

left: no
right: no
middle: yes and no... they're anaglyphic (cyan / red).

Do i like this anaglyphic 3d effect? No, not really. But it wasn't expensive (€ 3 per glass) so just for playing around with powerdvd 10 II and the feature to make normal dvds 3d. ^^

*hehe*, i hope that more people would spent their pictures. Wink

One (at least for me) interesting thing is the evolution of each user. Going back to 2006 and see what systems we used, replaced and perhaps in 5 years will use is interesting. Look back at my old pictures from 2006. ^^; The MediaCenter itself changed all the time: Barebone: (Athlon 64 3.200+, Athlon 64 3.500+, Athlon X2 4.200+) + GMC Home Theater: (ATOM 330 + ION, i3-550).

One of the most funniest thing, while tweaking and optimizing systems, is to built up a new one and bring the new machine to "life". Every setup better and more efficient than before. As i can see on your photos, you agree totally with me. Tongue
