Hi Everyone,

Ive been trying to get NPVR working with the Multiswitch i have (EMP Centauri 154) - and i think ive finally discovered why it doesnt work 100% - ive attached some schematic documents should anyone else want to look at comment.

The EMP Centauri i have has 8 satellite inputs - broken up into 4 groups of H & V inputs. Each of these groups is access via a diseq 1.0 command - which in this case is:

Diseq 1.0 Switch 1 (A) with 22 KHz OFF
Diseq 1.0 Switch 1 (A) with 22 Khz ON
Diseq 1.0 Switch 2 (B) with 22 KHz OFF
Diseq 1.0 Switch 2 (B) with 22 KHz ON

The problem ive found is that if i use Simple Diseq A/B as the option - i have dropdown boxes for 2 satellites (which is fine) - the problem is that it asks for LO1 , Switch and LO2.

As you can see from the listing above - there are 2 switches that use Parameter A and 2 that use Parameter B, and under the new method of setting up LNBs under NPVR - i can only put in 1 parameter for the A switch and 1 for the B switch (which leaves me unable to add the other 2 groups).

I have tried the diseq 1.x option - which gives me 4 dropdowns (A-D) - however since the multiswitch only uses A and B (in conjuction with the 22 khz switch) - im unable to access 2 of the groups.

Under GBPVR - i could set up a caputure source for each Satellite as such (multiple capture sources pointing to same capture card) - each source would then have the correct LO and switching commands. This has worked perfectly well for me for years.

Unless there is a workaround for me on how to add entries for the other 2 groups - then im unable to upgrade to NPVR. I have tried it with the 2 groups that it can access - and it works well ....

Is there anyway to put another option in the LNB setup to say "other" - which reverts to the GBPVR way of setting up satellites? or is there a way the database can be edited directly to put the parameters i need into it?

I really hope someone can assist with this as we love GBPVR and im really hoping that we can move onto NPVR soon (esp now that TV Listings is available for it Smile )

Thanks in Advance
