Is it posible to config to record by NPVR while still watch live-tv?

I tried to record my favorite TV show and also watch it at the same time. After the show finishes, I replay the recorded file and nothing is done by NPVR. Is it posible to config to record by NPVR while still watch live-tv?

No special configuration is needed for that, you just select the show that is beeing recorded in tv-guide and select Play. It har always worked for me.

I guess I don't quite understand the question. Are you saying you recorded a show, and watched it live also, but then later when you tried to play the recording there was nothing?

Post your logs and tell us which show you had the problem with and when it was on.

Sorry, I didn't explain clear. I mean I want to record by using NPVR but watch live-tv on another software like AverTV and so on.

Only one application can use a capture device at a time.

You can record and watch live tv at the same time in NPVR. You cant record in NPVR, and watch live tv at the same time in some other application though, since that would be two applications using the tuner at the same time.
