Did you remember to put the tectnotrend ttBDAxxxxxx DLL in the NPVR directory? If not, then nothing will be decrypted.

I know this is not a npvr problem, but has anyone come across this problem:

All programs, setting drivers are completly gone after restart! This is a new W7 install on a fresh SSD disk.

Just did anther test with installing 2 programs and one sound driver. 1 reboot everything ok, second reboot everything gone!!

So, I wasted about 4hous yesterday :-(

No one? Not suprised, nother on google or MS. Really stange.
If reboot, ok, Restart, everything gone!

Updated bios, Activated W7.. Restart wipes everything except for the OS.(back to how it was on first installed)

Oh well, back to the drawingboard

I'v experienced a lot of strange things with Windows, but never that. However, I remember a similar case back in the old days where I could save an edited sourcecode and when I read it back in the editor all changes were gone. One of my coworkers launched a theory that the harddrive was getting too hard so we could not write on it anymore... Big Grin

I would have thoughts about your SSD drive and/or it's drivers - could something be caching the writes and they are getting lost and not written to the main part of the drive at a reboot??

I'd suspect that too.

Thanks for the input. Funny one with the "hard" hard drive!

Anyway. I'm sure that something is up with the SSD. Have to look ino that. It seems as if its accepted the OS and thats it. Anything else get cleared out on re start. (power down)

Corsair replaced the disk. Got everything up and running.

Fresh W7, latest NPVR and just the CCCP pack. Everything seem to be working fine. Fingers crossed!

My old system was running for nearly 4 years without a reformat! Gone from PVR150, to DVB, Multidec et etc etc. Was about time for an upgrade!!!
