Quick Start to Live TV

Hi guys,

I would like to launch NextPVR directly to Live TV mode on a channel. I have already tried to set the UI Mode to TV Viewer but channel won't start until I right click and select Live TV. Maybe I can fix that through command line or whatsoever?

That's really great to hear! I downloaded the latest beta version, it doesn't support that yet, does it? When is the new beta version going to be released?

I was also just checking the Advanced Configuration wiki. Can you please tell me how to use the HDPVRBufferLonger parameter?

The next release will probably be out in two or three weeks.

This setting was an experiment. It wasnt determined if it improved things or not. It caused the HDPVR channels to play from the timeslip buffer rather than live preview (which would normally only move to the timeslip buffer when user hits pause or skip).

Is there any way to make buffer files longer than 6mins? I noticed that NVPR generates 4 temp files of about 300MB in size and 6 mins in lenght.
