I had a 9600Pro and it was at best marginal with HD, and that with VMR9-FSE (in XP). The HD3650 should help a lot; make sure you let us know how it works because there are many requests for an HD capable AGP card. I'll mention again my recommendation for Windows 7 with EVR renderer - improved my video experience by 100%.
