dusteagle Wrote:Hi, thanks for the plugin which does it work generally very well.

I have an issue however with the feeds from my public broadcaster. The have the following link format: http://www.sporza.be/cm/sporza/wielrenne...?mode=atom
These links work fine in Firefox, Google etc, but in RSSreader I get "Error Retreiving Feed". Would it be possible to check this out? Thanks a lot.

This feed is in "atom" format which is not supported at the moment. I will see what I can do.

I have uploaded a new version to wiki (http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?....RSSReader) which has an updated feed parser to handle text feeds in "atom" format. It will probably not work with image and podcast feeds in "atom" format.

I'm trying to learn about RSS feeds and I'v installed the plugin. It seems to work but what type should I define this page: http://tv2.no/rss/tv2nyhetene-siste.xml
If I set it to Text I only get partial headlines.

It should be Text. Here i see the full text content (as in Opera browser). There is some formatting issue however because they insert "newlines" which RSSReader does not clean. As a result some lines are broken prematurely.

Post a screenshot and the downloaded tv2nyhetene-siste.xml file.

With the Default skin it actually looks better, but still just the headline.

I do not see anything missing. They simply do not emit more than a headline (look into the xml file). There is of course some problem with embedded newlines that I need ignore in the future releases.

I see, it is a relativly primitive feed? I thought that the .xml file was supposed to take you to the actual html file.

There is uasually a link to the actual page in the xml. I might implement the possibility to jump to the actual page by a key press in the future. At the moment however I have other priorities.

Ok, thanks for looking into it.
