Hi,

I have looked through previous threads and have taken the following actions - but still cannot get any TV channels to be found when I click the "Map EPG Guide" button in setup.

1. I downloaded the bda_1040.zip file and tried to install the drivers from within it but they are apparently not the correct ones.

2. I am currently running on latest drivers from Hauppauge site - hcw13nova-t.exe

3. I have downloaded the CLDump.ax and MpgMux.ax files and run "regsvr32" on both of them.

Still no channels found tho. Media Portal finds them no problem so its not the card.

Some questions as to where to go next.

1. Do I actually need to install the full application from Cyberlinks website? Or are the two files mentioned above sufficient?

2. When choosing the card I can see "Frequency" settings that are greyed out. Do these need to be edited? If they do then how do I edit them?

Thanks!

Almost working now. I selected my closest transmitter "Rowridge" and it found most of the channels. Those on channel 28 dont seem to be found - E4, channel 4, itv, etc - is the frequency different?

Anyone have the settings for "Rowridge" transmitter?

Hi,

some of us had a problem with BDA.ini when using Nova-T 90002:

<quote>
[Hauppauge Nova-T (90002)]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER=Hauppauge WinTV 88x DVB-T Tuner/Demod
FILTER_CAPTURE=Hauppauge WinTV 88x TS Capture
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
</quote>

I had to change the PIN_TUNER_OUT, PIN_CAPTURE_IN and PIN_CAPTURE_OUT to "MPEG2-Transport" to make it work.

Greetings
Jui

The latest drivers are v2 - look on the Hauppauge UK user forums in the Digital Terrestrial section for a link - I don't think they've been posted on the support downloads site yet.

The mpgmux.ax on its own should be sufficient, I think, I never manually registered CLDump.

I don't know if they need to be or how to do it - I've always just left things alone on that front.

Try editing 0113.ini in the BDA\Dvb-t folder in the gbpvr install location. Edit the freq. for C28 to be 530166, save and rescan. If that doesn't work, try 529834, save and rescan. If that still doesn't work and you're locking OK on the other 5 xmitter MUXes then all I can suggest is that C28 has a poor signal in your area. Do you or a neighbour have a set-top box that you can check signal quality on?

Cheers,
Brian
