After update live tv gave "unable communicate with recording service" or something lt.
Second try crashed Windows to blue screen, and same again after restart.
I removed installation and folders and made fresh one, now blue screen coming when I
try scan channels. Gp-pvr still works in this computer.

Do you have the latest DirectX drivers installed? I see a message that Direct3Dx was not found. Also, it's always a good idea to make sure you have the latest drivers for your video.

Yes, latest directx is, checked that already. Even I currently still use Gp-pvr, also Npvr worked before updating to 1.5.36. In other pc Npvr still working after update.
Both have XP sp3, but in this, which not work, Windows is native language (finnish).

If window's is blue screening, its almost certainly some driver bug. Usually the blue screen message (or Windows Event Viewer) will tell you the name of the faulting module, which would help identify what component is causing the problem.

The fact it worked fine in GBPVR doesnt rule out driver problems. These apps both use capture devices and video cards in different ways, and can easily be excercising different areas of their respective drivers.

There is no driver change between 1.5.33(worked) and 1.5.36(don't work) in this end.

Thats not to say I'm using a different bit of a driver that I wasnt in a previous release. Did you check what faulting module was being report?

Minidump pointing to tuner driver, yes. Event logs say nothing.

Yeah, definitely sounds like some bug in the AF15BDA.sys driver. I have no way of knowing what it doesnt like about how NPVR works.

I have tried some other drivers for this chip (AF9015), and found one, which didn't kill
Windows. Unfortunatelly it don't work any better, but in logs could be something more
info for Sub.

Does anyone have working drivers for dvb-t tuner with AF9015 chip? It is used by many brands, A-link, Terratech etc. in usb tv-sticks.
