new HTPC build with HD support

I'm with these guys as well. I've looked after several hundred AMD PCs over the years and never had a problem with this error, even on the overclocked systems that some users get off me. I've never had an brand loyalty but looking back I've built more AMD than Intel and this is across all segments (gamer, htpc, workstation,design etc.). The ATI/Nvidia choice is the same, I pick what is the best for the user at that time based on their needs.

My statement belongs to the original ION. The "nextgen ION" is not faster then the previous one. In a lot of circumstances it's even more slower. It's even not possible to browse smooth through the internet with an ion / atom (330). A little bit flash advertisement can slow down the atom alot (even with an ion).
ATOM was never really thought as dtr or multimediaplatform. It's concepted as netbook or smartphone processor. My first enthuasiasmens of this platform went very fast down. You'll find better things: on amd and intel side.

Well, one more item for which to not believe the hype. After reading quite a bit more information, it looks like an Atom is out of my plans for the frontend.
