Live Preview mode now works on the XCard, but you must have the deinterlace setting set to 'encoder pass-through'

Where i this set?

I have a problem with the new version.
I use Hauppauge WinTV PVR USB2. It worked fine with the previous version. Now when I select LiveTV I only have a black screen. But if I start the tuner cards program (WinTV 2000) it shows the picture. And if I change channel in GB-PVR it changes channel in WinTV.

Sub,
I did a fresh install today and I now I get "object reference not set to an instance of an object" each time I try to view live tv.

I hadn't done a fresh install in quite a while and I recently suffered some sort of DB issue so I uninstalled everything and installed from scratch.

Thanks,

Jim

Finally had a day off to install 0.92.8! I was originally going to wait until the next release but I wanted to see the new recordings listings and improved functionality. Backed up my devnz directory, then ran the installation file. Everything upgraded smoothly.

Anyhow, so far no problems! Good job once again Sub!

Thank you!

Try either disabling live preview mode, or setting the deinterlacing setting to 'none'. Hopefully one of these will stop this error for you.

when i go to live tv and all my capture cards are in use, i get the message
"No Capture Source was available to enable you to watch the requested channel."
Isnt this version suppose to display a list of recordings in progress and allow you to watch one of those instead (err if it makes any difference im still using 0.92.7)

Hi,

Just installed the latest release on Win2000 with Hauppage PVR USB2.
I experience following problems:

- when I play back a recording using recordings->ready, it plays, but when I stop it, the screen stays black and it does not switch back to the menu. No problem when playing it through the video lib.

- when using live tv, audio and video is not in sync. (+/-one sec delay). Timeshifted and recorded modes are in sync.

- there seems to be a conflict with my Philips TV remote. When putting the TV to standby, the GBPVR goes into the netradio menu

- XML tv guide: I have a channel wich is time-shared between two stations, say X and Y. In my XML file, there are 2 entries for these. How do I get it configured, so that both of them go into the program guide? If I configure X and Y on the same channel, the EPG goes bananas.

Thanks.

It wasnt doing it in timeshift mode due to a bug. I noticed this a few days ago. I've fixed for the next build.

There is nothing I can do about this. You'll have to talk to Hauppauge about this, and hopefully they'll change the IR codes used in a later revision of the hardware.

Sorry, its not capable of doing this.
