Can you zip and post your npvr logs aswell?

I cant tell you what to do to fix it, but it looks like the .NET configuration files on your machine are broken.

ok thanks for the advice so far. i tried reinstalling the .net framework thing, it said it had "repaired" it but made no difference.

what is the npvr log, how do i find this? i will post it if I can!

What operating system are you running? If you are on XP, you may need to uninstall the whole .net thing and reinstall it. The location of the logs also depend on what OS you are running.

Really? Hm, I seem to remember doing it from Control Panel->Add/Remove programs or maybe the installation cd (add/remove windows something?).
The logs will be in c:\documents and settings\all users\application data\npvr.

well i did manage to remove SOME of the .net things and stopped getting that error message all the time... but when I tried to tune-in then I got a different error message. my pc just seems to not like my usb dvb stick, and crashes when any program trys to use it. even with the latest drivers.

it works fine on my other computers though!
