Unexpected error on DVB-T put_TunerRequest: 0x8007001F

I've got NPVR working great with my Blackgold 3620 except that all timed recordings that start after resuming from standby are 0kB!
I've found the error message "Unexpected error on DVB-T put_TunerRequest: 0x8007001F" in nrecord.log [attached].
I have used MediaPortal and Tv Scheduler Pro which do not suffer from this issue with the same card.
Perhaps NPVR is not allowing enough time for the 3620 to initialize?

Possibly, but the drivers are supposed to take care of all this automatically.

You could try creating a [DATA-DIRECTORY]\Scripts\Wakeup.bat, and put some delay in it, and see if it helps.

Ok but what command do I put in Wakeup.bat - I can't find any info on this. Presumably something like DELAY=60 but what actually?

If you google 'delay in batch file' you'll find loads of possible ways to do a delay in a batch file.


To delay approximately 60 seconds, you could do something like this:

ping 1.1.1.1 -n 60 -w 1000

Been looking at these cards myself. Noticed this thread over at thegreenbutton that mentions people having problems with tuners not working after resuming from standby. Might be connected.

Actually I hope they get it fixed before my card arrives that I ordered over a week ago. I really can;t be doing with tuners not waking up properly having previously owned a 350 card......I don;t have the patience any more!
