recordings are 0k

I finally got it all set up and just tried recording a half hour show. The file is 0k and won't play. I used the scheduling thing and recorded the show off the show guide thing where it said "quick record". Also, when lining up shows to record, I can't change the frequency to "recurring", I have to add all episodes manually. Is this normal?

That depends on where you're trying to do this. If you do this from "quick record" then it's normal. You should try to do "record" instead of "quick record", from that sub screen you can change to reocurring.

It's been a few hours and I left it on to record. Even the shows that were set to record instead of "quick record" are empty.

Giddonah - what setting do you have for the tuner to get the livetv feed? I can get the channel guide but no video feed at all - not live or from a recorder. Are you using rca and svideo cables?

I'm using coax to get the video feed. I don't understand.

Ah. I have a satellite box so I am using the svideo and rca cables for the sound. Internal tuner setting was not getting me anything but snow so I had to change it. Now the picture is reversed and upside down. Cannot get past that.

I can watch fine. It detected all the channels fine. I just can't watch anything I'm trying to record.

I got video and livetv feed by changing the card from 150MCE to 150.
