I dont think that is very fair. For most people it's working fine. Regardless of app, there is always some people that have some problems.

Was having some of the probs your are having. AV sync was pretty bad.
Then i gave SAF5 a go. All is synced and a very good picture. Have a go, maybe it will help.

Only thing that needs looking into is skipping, patched but still random behavior, but I can live with that.

I didn't mean to be rude or anything like that. My english skills are so bad, I can't often get proper "tone" to my writings.
I meant, that Npvr is currently only app in MY computer, which doesn't want to work. So, I rather think something else, than hardware problem.

A lot of of little instability here, still. The most annoying thing is audio sync, with VMR9 audio is after a minute visible late, and later it is a lot late. If I use EVR, audio goes a bit
ahead. Skipping ff or rev resync it for about 30sec*. It is same regardless which decoder is in use and this happening with default audio renderer too, but not every time.
Ffdshow audio decoder allows to set delay for audio, where 10ms makes video almost watchable with EVR. But only almost, because the time difference is not always same.
Quite stupid watch recordings with Gp-pvr or other player...

*(with both renderers)

NPVR doesnt play any role in the audio/video sync during playback. It must be down to the combination of audio/video decoders and renderers you're using. At the end of the day these are responsible for these aspects of the playback. Its not necessary the audio side of things - it could just as easily be the video causing this.

You could also try disabling all the audio formats, other than the one you're specifically using.

Others are disabled. I've tried all renderer and audio/video decoder combinations. Gb-pvr works fine with same decoder setup. VLC works (and Sony tv works via Serviio dlna
server). I have no ideas left, why only Npvr.

I doubt there will be anything to see in the logs, but post them anyway and I'll see if anything stands out.

Positive thing is, that latest version of ffdshow works now with live tv too. No slow
channel changing any more.

I didn't saw earlier so many playback position helper lines in Npvr.log, is it ok?

What do you mean? I dont understand.

I cant see any obvious cause of audio/video sync issues, but using audio renderers other than 'default' can cause audio/video sync issues.

I mean lines like this:
2011-01-26 01:41:37.390 [DEBUG][1] PlaybackPositionHelper.GetLastPlaybackDate(D:\WinFast WorkArea\American Hot Rod\American Hot Rod_20091004_15001600.dvr-ms)

2011-01-26 01:41:37.390 [DEBUG][1] PlaybackPositionHelper.GetLastPlaybackDate(D:\WinFast WorkArea\Neuvottelijat\Neuvottelijat_20091027_23300030.dvr-ms)
2011-01-26 01:41:37.390 [DEBUG][1] PlaybackPositionHelper.GetLastPlaybackDate(D:\WinFast WorkArea\Myytinmurtajat\Myytinmurtajat_20091028_23300035.dvr-ms)
There is now lot of them. Earlier I didn't noticed so many lines.

The problem is present with "default" too, but some tests vent well with it. But i'd like use ATI display card capability drive audio to TV via HDMI. Other sounds should use
normal sound card. And again, this setup works with Gb-pvr perfectly. I have set ATI sound driver to "default" (which causes, that no any sound, if TV not on), but it would
not either helped.
