Hi.
I have used GB-PVR for quite some time and have had very little problem with it.
Now I would like to run NPVR instead.
I downloaded the latest file and installed it. Prior to this I made sure that no old GB-PVR processes was running.
When the installation is done I start the setup and go to my tv-card.
I search for channels and a lot of them are found. However there is a few problems.
1. Only a couple of channels shows up with their name, the rest shows as Unknown,[numbers]
2. When the search is done an error message pops up, saying something about "unable to bind object to 'something'" (I will check again when I get home and edit my post).
I have to press ignore about 40 times to be able to continue.
3. When I try to watch the channels (Unkown or otherwise) The screen goes black and no sound is playing.
4. The EPG finds nothing, even for the channels that has been identified.
My HTPC:
Intel Core 2 duo
4 Gb ram
ATI gfx (ati wonder 850, I think)
Windows XP SP 3, all updates applied.
My tv-card:
Floppy DTV-C CI
My tv-provider:
Comhem, Sweden
I will provide more information when I have a chance, but maybe this is enough to get your brains grinding.
