Time Slot tvguide

I have set a few recordings up for time slot recording but notice its getting recordings outside the time slot.
I searched the forum on it but cant find anything
Only Just added the latest patches

Not sure where to start looking or what you need to look into it

If you do an 'Update EPG' then post the npvr.log, and details of some of the recordings you expected not to record, I'll check why they're being scheduled.

the news and shortland street should only be at night 6-7ish

sounds like the <TimeSlotMinutes>50</TimeSlotMinutes> feature....[in config.xml]
that means it will look for your show at scheduled time +/- 50 mins...
reduce that timeslot # to decrease the +/- range it looks for your show in..
[say a show normally starts at 7pm, with 50 mins +/-... if for some reason it starts at 6:15 it will still be scheduled, but 6pm won't..[more than 50 mins before normal time]

its recording the midday news 12:00 instead of 6:00 .
i dont think thats the issue

no one else must be having the issue so im guessing i have broken something

According to your logs, the news and shortland street are not timeslot recordings. 'Home and away', 'Campbell Live' and 'Without A Trace' are timeslot recordings, and seem to be correctly honouring this rule.
