Is there going to be any B2C2 flexicop based card support fro gbpvr?

I have an "technisat airstar2" card which I would like to use.

If it's got BDA drivers, it might work, but you'd need to add a section to BDA.ini.

I think that the drivers are not bda, have to check that.

At least in the technisat's pages there are no clues are they are BDA-enabled drivers. I think they more or less have their own driver, no Microsoft specific BDA stuff there.

Just for future reference, here's response from Technisat's support team:

----

Hello,

currently we have no BDA compliant drivers for Windows XP Mediacenter
Edition. But you can install the software and drivers and use the DVBViewer
TE.

Sorry, it sounds like you'll have to stick to DVBViewer, whatever that is.

BDA drivers are now available.

I added the following to the bda.ini file:

[TechniSat DVB-PC TV Star PCI (BDA)]
TUNING_TYPE=ATSC
FILTER_TUNER=TechniSat BDA Digital Tuner
FILTER_CAPTURE=TechniSat BDA Digital Capture
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

I can get channels on Live TV, but video is a bit choppy and sound is almost non-existent (although it comes in every couple of seconds).

When I record, I get a 0 byte mpg file.

I don't care about Live TV not working correctly, but I was hoping to use the record function.

Any suggestions?

Try to do a recording, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

What does the output of MuxChecker say on your PC?

What type card is this? ATSC, DVB-S, DVB-T or DVB-C? I notice you've used a name containing "DVB", but then said the type is 'ATSC'.

Here is the output of MuxChecker:

GB-PVR has detected the following multiplex filters on your machine:

Found: InterVideo Multiplexer
FILE: C:\Program Files\InterVideo\Common\Bin\ivimux.ax
VERSION: 3.0.88.0

If you're running WinXP SP1 or higher, you will also be able to use the built-in DVR-MS mux filter

The card is an ATSC card. The name came from the listing in the device manager. Maybe they use the same driver for both?
