WR3 is just an upgrade to WR3 with new skins and rewritten plugin interface code. lots of the page is relevant. Jaggy needs a change in 3.5 and once I figure out if I need a patch for Dave72 I can release 3.5. The main change is the new QAM radio and TV modes in the announcement thread.

I am wondering how WR decides on it's album art, today I was trying http://208.110.69.125:8016/ for the first time & boy was it displaying some weird AA (refer attached image showing four of them), the other funny/odd thing was the AA would stay displaying for three or four songs after the one it first displayed for even though the artist - song had changed in the playing box??

Its not sophisticated, I take the shoutcast data and break it into two parts but I ignore info after brackets.

The actual query is stored in the logs (those things) here is the last few for me on that stream

Code:
http://images.google.ca/images?q="Beatles"+"Twist%20And%20Shout%20'63"&start=0
http://images.google.ca/images?q="Tab%20Hunter"+""&start=0
http://images.google.ca/images?q="Angels"+"Wow%20Wow%20Wee%20"&start=0
http://images.google.ca/images?q="Foundations"+"Build%20Me%20Up%20Buttercup%20'69"&start=0
http://images.google.ca/images?q="Brian%20Hyland"+"I'm%20Afraid%20To%20Go%20Home%20'63"&start=0

On this stream that google search is sometimes interrupted but the year they put at the end.

I did think of logs but thought the link to the stream was more important Wink

I wonder why it kept display the out of date AA for the next few tracks with different artist track info? It is the first stream that I have seen that does the year that way but from what I saw it was always 'yy but setting to to ignore everything after the ' would "stuff up other streams I'm sure" (stuff up other streams I Big Grin )

It is poSSible that you are using a Plugin that could be causing an error on art. In 3.5 I will do a regex search and replace the '## end value. It will generally be wrong, except for the few remakes I will miss and we can debug it then.

Yes that is poSSible, but on returning from said plugin WR is also displaying the incorrect AA?

I will makes some other changes in 3.5 to see if I can reduce the chance of stale art that might be caused by conflicts deleting the old image.

Martin,

am getting a strange result from listening to DR channels. I have 2 x digital devices with DR channels scanned and selected in device setup. Under the general tab the 'hide DVB/ATSC channels' is selected. In the channels tab there is only 1 entry/number for each of the selected DR channels. In WR config 'digital radio' is selected.

Navigating to the digital radio section in WR there are 2 x entries for each DR channel. They are not duplicates in as much as selecting either one with the same name lists the 2 x digital devices individually. i.e. in my case

entry 1 for LBC 97.3 reveals Hauppauge WinTV 88x DVB-S
entry 2 for LBC 97.3 reveals FireDTV BDA Tuner

all looks normal if I select entry 1. Buffers and plays. However if I bring up the device status from th etray icon it is in fact the FiredDTV device that NextPVR is using.

If I select entry 2 as the channel to play, this is also using the FiredDTV device.

The same happens for every entry selected for Hauppauge WinTV 88x DVB-S, NextPVR uses the FiredDTV device....

[Edit]
Update However if the FireDTV is in use for recording or LiveTV then WR will find and play a DR channel on the 2nd (Hauppauge) device!
[EndEdit]

cheers

When you select the tuner, you are actually just selecting the station list for that tuner. After selecting a station, WebRadio does't do anything fancy and it will play that station on the first available tuner. If you don't want a station or stations to use a tuner don't map them on the higher priority tuner.
