Beta: TV Listings 3.4

Hi,

(took a good 10 minutes I think)

I've attached an empty database to this post that contains an index to speed up things. Could you please replace your TV Listings.db3 temporarly for a test with the attached one and run the XmltvExtras utility again to check if the runtime decreases?

Are you running the 3.4 beta? If so did you update the skin xml?

I had to put a 1 month old image on my system and noticed that TV Listings wasn't showing on the menu or in Settings. I downloaded the latest version and overwrote the existing files and it still won't show up in the Settings menu. I'm not sure why this happened.
I believe it's a skin issue and I think I may just uninstall NPVR and start over but was curious if this is something others have faced.

Thanks, I will try this tonight. I hope it helps, as it now takes 40-50 minutes to run.

While I know I only just finished putting a new BRVE+ release out that included TVListings the other day alibert released this beta just after I had done it & there are a couple of small skin changes that will be needed for it to work properly, I decided to wait until it is out of beta before I release another update to the skin.

Yes, much better, ran in just a few seconds. What is the index? Can I add it to my existing database?

edit: I found the new index and added it to my existing .db3, works great, thanks.

I ran into a problem with the display of the channel number. Whenever the channel # is greater than 100, the TV Listings truncate the units digit. Channel number 100 displays as "10", 544 displays as "54" etc.

As a wish list item, could you offer the option to display ["channel #" - "channel callsign"] when a program is selected? Right now only the channel callsign (ie. WIVBDT) is displayed when the channel name is displayed here or in the "Find More" listing.

since the channel names and numbers appear at many locations throughout the tv listings and tv recordings plugin, could you please try and describe where exactly you're seeing the truncated channel numbers, and at which locations you'd like to see the additional channelnumber + channelname option? Maybe attaching a screenshot would help, too.
