Sometimes we get sports feeds in two languages on the cable feed:

1. If is two audio streams, I can just select the English one (on the PC, via right click, Audio Stream Track 1 or Track2)
2. If is ONE audio stream, but different language for left right speaker, I can just lower the slider in AC3, on the PC.

But how on Earth do I do this on the PCH? I tried the audio button on the PCH Remote. No go. This works when playing normal DVD's, from a standalone DVD player.

The audio key will switch between different audio tracks but not different L/R tracks. Implementing Left/Right single channel mono out from two speakers is easy but I don't really have keys for this. Can you play one of these files and from telnet let me know what this says

cat /tmp/dumpts.txt

Sorry if I sound dumb here, but can you please describe what I am supposed to do e.g.

1. Play the file ... presumably on the NMT?
2. Go to the PC, Start Telnet and login how?
3. Issue the command cat /tmp/dumpts.txt

Cheers,
k.

Sorry I thought you had used putty before. If you have the Windows telnet client from the command prompt, after starting to play the file

telnet ip_of_pch

in the telnet window

cat /tmp/dumpts.txt

Yes play the file on your PCH and afterwards capture the text. With putty just mark by holding down the left move and and right click to copy to the clipboard.

The Cable Box has A, B, B/A and A/B. B seems to be English, but sometimes they swap it around, so rather than leave it on B and get A (only Chinese), so I use B/A in the knowledge I can swap. Do you need A/B as well?

That is the minimum I was expecting, but I was hoping there would be something more I could use to tell me it was multi-channel audio. If you cu a 50 MB sample with sub's utility http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post324813 and put it on mediafire, I will see what I can do.
