NPVR 2.0.3 Failed Recordings

Hi,

I've recently updated to version 2 from version 1.5 and have started having some strange issues.

First, I've had some device failed to start recordings. I have 2 hauppage 2250 tuners that have worked perfectly now for several months. Here's an example log for that error message:

That was a clearqam recording. at the same time, it was doing something in analog, however, earlier in the evening I did have mixed recordings running, so I don't think that that would be the issue. Any ideas?

The other issue, is zero byte recordings.

I was recording back to back shows on a channel, which in 1.5 I could do for hours at a time. It was a string of "Without a Trace episodes". Then it switched to 2 back to back "criminal minds" episodes, which both did 0 byte recordings, but the without a trace episode that followed those recorded fine. All the log says for that is this

Any ideas on that one? I have gotten 0 byte recordings in 1.5 when TWC moved clearqam around, but I definitely had that channel, since it recorded afterwards. Any clue?

I don't want to muck up your thread, but just to let you know I'm having similar problems. Last nite had a zero byte recording and a failed recording sandwiched between 2 that worked. These are manual recurring recordings. If it continues I'll try to figure out how to post a log in a separate thread and be more specific about the details. It's funny, I think the two that worked may have been recently added or updated but the two that didn't previously worked and now don't. I may delete all four and re-add and try again. Yesterday morning, I restored my backup DB from before moving from 1.5 to 2.0, deleted all the guide info, deleted the guide xml, deleted all the pending/recurring recordings, and then set up a ton of recordings on all the different channels. It's been running since yesterday morning with no issues as of yet. *knock on wood*.
