Hey guys,
I saw that my original post has received 18 sets of eyeballs but no comments. Please help if possible! I tried using Sage TV and was severely disappointed. The continued search brought me to NPVR, and this seems more like a "community".
Given my Sage TV experience I know that my card is working (and the correct drivers installed), so what do I need to do to get NPVR to recognize the card (device)? Is this something that GB-PVR would have addressed OK but just isn't yet built into NPVR?
I'm running Windows XP or this wouldn't be an issue. I was running the XP Media Center Edition on the older machine, so support was "natural". I'm not yet running Windows 7, where support would again be "natural". I'm in the doughnut hole, so to speak, and would love to be able to record programs for later viewing. Seems a shame to have a card but not be able to take advantage of it...
Many thanks, Jeff
