I cant tell you the exact reason why you're having this problem. I can tell you it is highlighting your episode of the The Zoo though, but its underneath another copy of The Zoo. ie, you got the The Zoo listed twice in your EPG at that time, and the underneath one is scheduled to record, and is highlighted. The top one obscures that selection though.

You find if you click that show, you'll have to press the right arrow twice for it to move to the next show.

OK, that makes sense.
But, given that its a recurring recording, shouldnt both be highlighted?

No, because their is logic to stop it recording two shows with the same name at the same time, so the second one doesnt get scheduled.

Yes, right.
Soooo, what distinguishes between the two shows - that is, why do they appear as different shows in the EPG?
If the logic says "dont record both", can we not use the same logic to say "dont populate the guide with both"?

OK, I have an example of a show (New Tricks) which is not duplicated - moving left/right only takes a single click to move off it. Its not showing red, but should be. Database is attached.

Unfortunately I need to shows to be in the future when I look at them. This show is now in the past, so I cant check this one out.

It was highlighted red when I tried your database.
