Working for me:-

Pinnacle 7010x PCIe 2x DVB-T 2x DVB-S
Hauppauge nova-t-500 (99101) PCI
Videomate S350 DVB-S PCI
PVR150 analogue PCI
Hauppauge WinTV PVR USB2 analogue

Not working for me:-
Kworld DVB-T USB - No Windows 7 drivers (this is a box at the end of a USB cable, very cheap from Scan at one time ISTR).

Tried filling in the gaps on this one by googling. Seem to be variations. Does this have ATSC & Analog too (is Analog in HW)?

It (ATI Theater Pro 650) is both analog and digital (ATSC or QAM) and the analog has a hardware encoder. I believe I had it working with NPVR with the Hauppauge SoftPVR components, but did not say so because I'm not positive about my memory. The card comes in both PCI and PCIe versions. I believe I had the analog side of the PCI version working. I would expect the PCIe analog to work as well. The PCI analog does work with GBPVR. I don't have ATSC available to test here, but I think Martin said it works with NPVR.

Thank you Sir Big Grin Yup Martin has confirmed ATSC so this fills in all the gaps. I think we can mark that up as working both in PCI and PCIe versions in all modes.

many thanks

Hiya Reddwarf,

I could do with some advice and education here Big Grin

For instance I have a FireDTV device. It has a CI slot (I have never used it with a CAM because I never understood it :o )

How do we list HW and Softcam? Does this mean with HW support device has a CI slot? Device with Softcam only means no CI slot but CAM can be emulated in software?

Looking forward to education and one day I may get my FireDTV working with CAM Wink

very best

Yes exactly. You need a CI to connect a CAM. You could list CI/CAM support yes/no. Devices without CI/CAM support will usually work with softcam, depends a bit of the type of encryption used. You'll have to ask Sub about firedtv support.
