HVR 2250 Tuner Selection Problem

I'm having trouble getting NPVR to set my analog capture source to SVideo. Everytime I set it, it goes back to tuner. Has anyone seen this issue?

Where abouts do you mean?

If you go into your empty capture source, click 'import channels', select svideo, select your xmltv files, then it should create channels associated with the svideo input.

That's what I did but when I hit ok, it is switched to tuner.

I'm also having the remote learn problem (WinTV) with the toggle bit that others have been describing. Any advice on that also?

Just to be clear - you're creating the channels after setting the input, not trying to change existing channels you created earlier?

Sorry, I dont know anything about that. Thats outside of NPVR, so not something I've spent much time with.

Post #5, yes, that is correct. I cleared out the channels and then hit import. I then hit SVideo 2 (that's the one I have the USBUIRT on). When it is done importing the channels they all say tuner.

I just tried SVideo 2 and saw the same thing you're reporting. I checked though, and the problem is just cosmetic - the screen is incorrectly reporting all analog channels as tuner channels. The database correctly indicates the channel is using 'svideo 2'.

The attached patch will report it correctly.

Sub,

they now show SVideo but I get a blue screen and no sound (I'm assuming it is either looking at the Composit or tuner).

I'm having trouble getting the logs uploaded.

Zip and attach the npvr.log/nrecord.log and i'll take a look.
