HVR 2250 Tuner Selection Problem

I switched around the card numbers and the input numbers (Capture device 1 using Svideo 2 and capture device 2 using Svideo 1) in NPVR and I get the same result. One device works fine and the other gives a blue screen and no sound. I did it by cleaning out all of the channels for each input and re-importing them with the switched Svideo.

I also verified in Windows Media Center that both analog portions of the HVR2250 card are working and connected properly (I recorded two analogs at the same time).

It must be how the cards/inputs are labled as Snooze suggested.

Snooze,

I took a look at the document. The driver I had installed is the latest release. I can't get past the toggle bit error under learn. I would be in business if I could get the blaster to work.

I got the card to record with both SVideos. Thanks for the help Sub. SVideo 2 is not a real input.

In case anyone asks me about this in future, what inputs did you have to end up using? Was it just svideo on the first device, and svideo on the second device?

Svideo on both.

Sorry to put you through all that but since I couldn't get the Hauppauge blaster working, so I was setting up one SVideo at a time (to use with a USBUIRT). If they are both set to SVideo it works.
