Record Live TV

I watching Live TV and decided to record what was on. But then it got late, I exited Live TV to go to bed. What that did is that it also stopped recording the show that I was recording. How do I record after beginning Live TV without having to watch that show?

Pressing Record (Ctrl-k) while watching live tv should initiate a background recording and continue even after you close live tv. If you can post the logs from the time, I'll check why that didnt happen.

Thanks Sub... The show was "Meet the Fockers" around 9 or 10pm... i think something else is wrong because only 7 minutes recorded and I watched it for at least a good hour before exiting
