XP question

Hi there,

sorry for asking this question *here*.

When I put any CD or DVD into my (external) DVD-drive, XP pops up the window "What shall I do with the data on this media? Shall I play it in the player, do you want to browse it with the explorer, or shall I just close this silly pop up window?".

This popup windows steals the focus from gbpvr which leads in really funny situations when trying to use gbpvr without monitor (just the tv-set hooked to the XCard so that the desktop can't be seen).

Please, guys, tell me: how can I tell silly XP not to pop up this silly pop up?

I believe there is an option in the popup to "do nothing" and then another option to "always do selected option". Try that.

or you can open a windows explorer --> right click on the dvd drive --> select properties --> select tab 'AutoPlay'

there you can define 'no action' for every type of disk and you don't have to wait until you insert a disk of a certain type.
