With gbpvr I could connect to the web interface on my Android phone from anywhere and setup recordings etc. Whilst I can connect to the web interface with Pvr on my phone there are no vertical scroll bars so can't see all channels or set recordings.

Any ideas?

Have you tried a different browser? The default browser uses elements of Chrome and I know the PC version of Chrome doesn't display NEWA correctly on my machine (although it does have vertical bars).

Check the Market - there are versions of Opera and Firefox plus a couple of others.

Cheers,
Brian

NEWA (NPVR) is defaulting to CSS based screens whereas EWA (GBPVR) defaulted to table based screens. Try switching from guide2.aspx to guide.aspx on your mobile and see if that makes a difference. I don't have a internet enabled phone so I can't help out with this one.....I know that mobile browsers are not yet as robust as desktop browsers and CSS support may be limited in them.

What in Chrome on your PC does not render correctly? What version of Chrome are you using?

I know that I sometimes see questions on stackoverflow from Android devs relating to CSS programming problems so that may well be a good call.

The latest version (12.0.742.112) but previos versions have shown similar problems...

The buttons at the bottom get cutoff by the taskbar this happens whether I use auto-hide for the taskbar or not (see attached image).

Also if I click on the 'Config' button, I don't get a cursor for either the Username or Password entry boxes and when I click them, whatever I type doesn't appear in the boxes (no text for the Username and no asterisks for the Password box).

The patch above should address the credential entering issue.

Looks like dropping the 2 from guide2.weld does the trick

Thanks
Steve

Thanks (and to Martin too for linking to it) - that's fixed it.
