Because LiveTV uses multiple rolling files you won't really be able to stream it using NEWA.

there is a registry setting somewhere that lets you increase the length of the livetv buffer, and therefore of the rolling files, which could make it easier to stream livetv in this way. it's linked in the third post of the old npvr sticky, which in turn is linked in the third post of the current sticky.

NEWA could lock a file that NPVR doesn't want locked. I just think live tv via NEWA should not be encouraged, I don't even think UJB supports it.
