I have a short timeout (5 minutes), on the assumption if you've stopped watching TV and aren't doing anything else then it's time for the PC to go nighty-night.Presumably if sub were to implement this feature (doesn't seem too likely anyway), it would probably have a configurable 'over-record' time including 0 minutes which would effectively disable it. I do understand there are scenarios and usage models where continuing to buffer livetv for a long time might not be the best fit. I think a lot of the benefit of it would come with even a 5-minute 'over-record' time (though I'd personally want at least 30), yet 5 minutes would not unreasonably delay sleep.
