Hi!
It would seem that the AnySee E7 T2C may be the solution to the situation in Sweden with terrestial broadcaster Boxer. Boxer does today encrypt all mpeg-4 and HD channels with a technique that requires a CI+ capable hardware CAM. The CAM includes an embedded encryption key that enables the decoding of those channels. Until now all attempts to use a software CAM has been futile since noone has the decryption key. If that was found however it could be fed to OSCam (a softcam) which can handle this decryption. The prospect of that is slim and the proper way to go is to use an official hardware CAM that has the key embedded. The E7 does all this and it is now reported that mpeg4 and HD channels from Boxer work with this tuner.
There is an SDK to enable the decoding which I guess has to be supported in NPVR. This is where Sub comes in...
The SDK and other info can be found here: http://www.anysee.com/eng/download/TC_Series.php
(Edit: This is of course for anybody with an operator demanding CI+ decoding, not only Boxer)
