Main menu

When I am viewing Live TV and right-click, why is the "Main Menu" menu missing?

My context menu is:

Open File
Live TV
Channels
Pause
Play

What happened to "Main Menu"?

It only shows up when in the menus, and not already at the main menu. ie, if you click TV Guide, then right click, you should see 'main menu' listed in the context menu. From live tv you'd have to choose stop.

I just double checked this here, and its working the way I expected.

I was watching Live TV and I clicked on Stop. Then I right-clicked to see the context menu and "Main menu" was not there. See attached.

I just tried this here, and I get the 'Stop' context menu. I also got the 'Main Menu' option in context menu, and successfully stopped live tv for me an returned to the main menu. I'd forgotten this was possible.

Was video actually visible at the time you tried?

Were you in the main menu screen when you right clicked?

Live TV is running and here is my right-click context menu (first picture on the left):



I click on Stop and here is the right-click context menu after clicking Stop (second, smaller picture):

Can you zip and post your Nextpvr.exe.log? I'm not seeing that here. I tested with starting Live TV both from the TV Guide and the main menu. The second screenshot looks correct if you are at the main menu at the time.

What I really need the main menu for is to get the Weather plugin as a selection. I installed the plugin, but have no way to call it up if I can't get to the main menu.
Also, when LiveTV is stopped, hitting F1 or F2 or F8 - none of them bring up what they should bring up (TV Guide, LiveTV, Recordings). Very frustrating.

Ah ha! (Sorry, I get excited when I can fix an issue before sub does.)

Go to "Settings" -> "General".

Change "U.I. Mode" to "PVR". You currently have it set on "TV Viewer".
