Nice idea. Maybe only download fanart where genre=film/movie?
[edit]: oh well....
yep, imagegrablite is running nice here Martin so thanks again. I was finally able to stop maintaining the EPG for and uninstall gbpvr which I was maintaining for javawiz's grabber.

If you can get sub to add a fanart folder or two (once for for artists and once for series/movies) I would like to add this. I could filter movies only for those in North America that use the zap2it based solutions, or where the only "hit" is on themovie.db

I'm using UltraXMLTV_Enhancer on the file I get from Schedules Direct to enhance the listings in NPVR. One of the current configuration options for movies is to add the year of the movie in square brackets to the name of the movie. (Helps to distinguish multiple movies with the same name.) So, for instance, I just recorded one which is named "If Looks Could Kill [1991]". I've noticed in my logs that imageGrabLite isn't finding any matches for movies. I'm guessing that is because of the year at the end. Is there any option to get it to ignore those years when doing the searching? Or, better yet, to use the year to pick the correct match where there are multiple ones?
While were talking about matches, sometimes when I have a movie with the same or similar title as a tv show, I get the TV show xml and poster. Is there a way to force it to do a movie lookup. Thanks
I remember going through similar discussions with the authors of WizGrabber and ProgramImageTool, both Grabbers I used to use. Eventually solutions were found, but it is difficult to truncate all instances.

I'd much prefer it if sub was a little bit flexible and added some fields that have been requested to the scheduled_recordings table to allow doing things which would allow integrating metadata over hacks of the title. carpeVideo, UJB and zehd have all tackled this metadata differently and I would hate to change the code for every developer. With UltraXMLTV_Enhancer can you add the year to the subitle? That field isn't used normally used for movies so it might be a clean way to do this. If not I will think about it.
