Main menu shortcut?

I thought I'd try npvr again & its working fine. Smile

Just one thing that I searched for & didn't find - is there a kb shortcut that will take me back to the main menu? In other words I want the Home key to have the same function it has in GBPVR Smile

However I dont think there is a key which takes you back to the main menu in one go. The nearest is "esc" which takes you back one step up so may need more than one press to get back to the top. On the MCE remote "Clear" seems to do the same thing.

Is there any way we could be allowed to set one of the function key shortcuts to be the main menu? It is kind of a pain if you are down into a folder browsing videos, for example, and then have to press Escape several times to get back to the main menu.

Ok. F9 in the next version of nextpvr.exe will take you straight back to the main menu.

I know you've probably never tried it, but will this work if SubMenu is the main menu?

How will this be implemented as a remote key? I checked KeyMappings and I guess this logic is hardcoded.

I figure it will work the same as HandleCommand("Main Menu"); does today.

In my experience, that doesn't return to the main menu though. It just does the equivalent of hitting ESC?
