soccerdad,
Did you get the patched ntray.exe? With it, my tray is showing the DCR status.
Sub - Thanks for the modified NScriptHelper.exe. Unfortunately the “-isrecording” function does not seem to work correctly for me as it always outputs “NOT RECORDING” even when recording. However the “-isinuse” function correctly outputs “RECORDING” or “NOT RECORDING” so no other changes were needed to my batch file.
If anything other than "NOT RECORDING" is detected it goes into a 60 second delay loop until "NOT RECORDING" is detected and the computer is rebooted. The file is set to run at 02:30 just after EPG update but there is a recording taking place until 03:00 so it should reboot at 03:03 because of padding.

Just a caution: If you have any PostProcessing.bat (or, I would guess even a ParallelProcessing.bat that lagged some), this scheme is probably going to cut it off. Unfortunately, NPVR considers a recording "complete" once it stops writing the .ts file, not after the PostProcessing.bat has completed (and, in my case, the commercial detection is completed).

That's true. It doesnt know anything about PostProcessing.bat or long running ParallelProcessing.bat files.

Thanks Brett, I am not fully up on all the patches I guess. I have been over on the WMC side but am now back testing a middle ground solution. I have had all kinds of stability problems with the DCR (with the latest firmware), even on WMC. I now am pretty sure that it was a conflict with my HVR-1800. I pulled that card and things are much better. Now I am starting again. I will update the ntray and see how that works.
Thanks
