Esc invokes "blue screen of Death"

When exiting live TV to main to previous screen using "Esc" key the video pauses then the PC shuts down.

Also, exiting live TV using "Home" results in small video lower left but I'm unable to navigate. Pressing "Home" a second time moves the video to upper middle and a third time returns to full screen.

This is a new install on Win7

I know I've got something wrong somewhere.

Any ideas?

What happend if you stop it the "normal" way by strl-s, then use esc to exit?

Pressing "Ctrl+s" gives same result.

Also canceling a scan in progress may do the same.

Is this a new problem or has it always been like that?

If you have the R2 patches and completely uninstall TVListings do you still have problems? If yes could you send the logs without TV Listings.

This is a new (3day old install).
The issue does not occur in windowed mode but the "Home" issue is still the same.
And when I press "Home" in live TV the dialogue box overlay is still in place over the guide.

@Martin, I'll get to work on your request.
To be clear, you mean to disable "TV Listing" plugin AND remove related folders?
Is this a manual operation or is there an auto-unistall feature I don't know about?

Imilne recently posted a nice tip, if you rename the plugin folder to have a leading underscore it will be disabled enough to confirm if it is a problem or not.

It turns out that I omitted the patches, but when pacthed and I select a program in the guide, the cell turns white with what appears to be the diologue box in minature. And there is delay.

Now disabling TVListings,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Here are the latest logs.

there is quite a delay and exiting live TV I get,,, "please wait" then hitting "esc" again brings me back to main menu and not listings (which was my last location)

I've also included imageGrabLite.log for your consideration. I added it only yesterday but was happily suprised by images in my recordings listing this AM.
While I've got you on the line, can Ultraxlm/Ultra2 operate with two xlm files?

Usually, a blue screen of death can only be caused by something happening at kernel level. This tends to be device drivers and some anti-virus apps that have a kernel mode component. Have you checked that you have the latest drivers for your Hauppauge and ATI cards? What stop error do you get when you blue-screen? (make sure "automatically restart" isn't ticked in your startup & recovery settings, so you have time to check the blue screen error).
