One other thing I noticed: It seems to take a moment to exit a show now. Before, it would just quit it to the guide. Now it seems to pause then exit.

Is there something I can do that is the same as making the msg pop up? Does it use that blank.mpg file, or another file? I'm just looking if there's a way to test it.

It was great because you knew it was doing something when ging from the guide, and weren't left wondering if it missed the remote press.

yeah bring the screen back, i often hit the remote to see if its actually starting live tv or if its still in the guide (and i always hit the up key, so when i finally get to live tv, it changes channels.....)

Yes, thats normal. Its a special component that I use. It's not included in the version I distribute.

Well, as for the pause w/ the 150 and changinh files, if I'm the only person noticing it, there's probably not enough info or cause to look further. Maybe it'll iron itself out, or someone else will notice, and there will be more to go on.

I have a feeling being one of the few TS-only viewers (I like being able to rewind), it won't be on most people's radar.

I found the delay problem, but I don't know why it happens.

What changed, it seems, is that the guide and TV (TS at least) spin up the other drive where recordings are kept (recoredings on D, live on C). I let D sleep to keep the temp down.

Is this right, or unintentional? That these need to test/check the recording drive now?

nm...that wasn't it.

I ended up bailing back to 09112b (I think I was using 0911 before, but I don't think 09112b had the playlist glitch). Just hanging back for the next round.

I quickly gave myself the crazy test, to see if the program switching pause was in my head. It wasn't. The switch between time blocks was so fast I almost didn't see it. It just seems something in 0911x plays better on my sys.

Thx for the help again sub (and the assist reven). I'm going to give the next version a whirl when it comes out. I'll be living too far in the past at that point.

Capone, what are your hardware specs? I'm wondering if our hardware might have something in common. I tried the latest rev a few weeks back and had to revert to 12b because of performance issues also. Thanks.
